At Cyncoed Pharmacy, our private Meningitis B vaccination service helps protect you and your family against a serious and fast-moving bacterial infection.
Our service is designed to be simple and accessible, with easy online booking and flexible appointments, so you can get protected at a time that suits you.
Meningitis B is a bacterial infection that can develop quickly and, in some cases, become life-threatening. It can affect people of all ages and may lead to meningitis (inflammation of the brain and spinal cord lining) or septicaemia (blood poisoning).
Early symptoms can feel similar to flu, such as a high temperature, headache or generally feeling unwell, but the illness can progress rapidly. Because of this, many people choose vaccination as a way to reduce their risk.
If you ever suspect meningitis, it’s important to seek urgent medical attention. More information about the symptoms of Meningitis can be found on the NHS website by clicking here.
At Cyncoed Pharmacy, we offer the Meningitis B vaccine for adults and children aged 10 years and over.

Our pharmacist, Hayley, will discuss the most appropriate schedule for you during your appointment.
The cost of the vaccine is £105 per dose, with payment taken at the time of booking to secure your appointment.
