Thanks to their amazing new technology, using the TympaHealth system we quickly diagnose ear & hearing conditions including infections. Following diagnosis, many ear conditions (such as infections) are treated by the Pharmacist clinician carrying out the test.
Excessive & compacted ear wax are often identified at your Ear Health check-up initial consultation. Patients with such conditions are offered ear wax removal by Microsuction. This is the gold standard for ear wax removal.
Patients may be offered another appointment at this time at a later date (approx. 1 week). This gives sufficient time for ear wax softener ( such as Olive Oil) to work. This will help the ‘microsuction’ procedure.
The Ear initial Ear Health Consultation should take a maximum of 10 minutes and costs £10.
