In some cases, you may require urgent prescription medication without having a valid prescription on hand. However, pharmacies are still able to give you the drug in an “Emergency Supply.” Your doctor may make such requests, or you, the patient, may make them.
If you have run out of your regular medication*, and are unable to attend, or get hold of, your GP practice – we are here to help. We offer a consultation under the NHS Emergency Medicine Supply Service to help you get access to the medication that you need. We may require access to your GP records in order to carry out this service.
We would recommend contacting us as soon as possible so that you don’t get caught out. We are here to help you, whenever you need us.
Call into the pharmacy or ring us to check if you are eligible for this Service.
It’s worth mentioning that certain Emergency Supplies may come at a cost, even if you don’t typically pay for your prescriptions. Additionally, some medications may not be permitted for Emergency Supply. To ensure the correct procedures are followed, please call our pharmacy and speak to one of our staff members. Our pharmacist will be able to recommend the appropriate course of action for you.
